slackline/api/chat/update

This module is generated by gleam run -m slackline_codegen/generate. Do not edit it by hand.

Setters for the optional arguments of chat.update. Each setter takes the call that chat.update returns and sets one argument:

chat.update(channel: "channel", ts: "\"1405894322.002768\"")
|> update.as_user(True)

Values

pub fn as_user(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  as_user: Bool,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

Pass true to update the message as the authed user. Bot users in this context are considered authed users.

pub fn attachments(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  attachments: List(attachment.Attachment),
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

A list of structured attachments. Without it, Slack keeps the previous attachments. Send an empty list to remove them.

pub fn blocks(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  blocks: List(block.Block),
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

A list of structured blocks. Pass an empty list to remove the previous blocks.

pub fn file_ids(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  file_ids: List(String),
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

Array of new file ids that will be sent with this message.

pub fn link_names(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  link_names: Bool,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

Find and link channel names and usernames. If not specified, the original value set for the message is overwritten with the default.

pub fn markdown_text(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  markdown_text: String,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

Accepts message text formatted in markdown. This argument should not be used in conjunction with blocks or text. Limit this field to 12,000 characters.

pub fn metadata(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  metadata: message.MessageMetadata,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

A JSON object with event_type and event_payload fields. If omitted, the previous metadata is kept.

pub fn parse(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  parse: chat.ParseMode,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

Change how messages are treated. Defaults to client, unlike chat.postMessage. Accepts either none or full. If you do not specify a value for this field, the original value set for the message will be overwritten with the default, client.

pub fn reply_broadcast(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  reply_broadcast: Bool,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

Broadcast an existing thread reply to make it visible to everyone in the channel or conversation. Defaults to false.

pub fn text(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  text: String,
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)

How this field works and whether it is required depends on other fields you use in your API call. See below for more detail.

pub fn unfurled_attachments(
  call: slackline.Call(chat.Update, r),
  unfurled_attachments: List(attachment.Attachment),
) -> slackline.Call(chat.Update, r)
